Clinical Product Specialist – Spine
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Spine Product Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide detailed technical support for spine surgery products and procedures to wide range base including physicians, nurses, operating room personnel, distributors & independent sales representatives and SpineCraft sales & customer service staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and clinical support as well as education to SpineCraft customers in the area of spine surgery instrumentation.
- Support marketing & sale activities through sales materials, training, field visits, etc.
- Must have fundamental command of all SpineCraft product categories and be able to disseminate this knowledge to end-users, distributors, agents and sales representatives efficiently and in a timely manner to improve patient outcomes.
- Direct product evaluations in the operating room and office settings.
- Assists in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings as needed.
- Obtain market feedback from spine surgeons and other customers to determine functional and design specifications for new product development
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
- Assist the Quality and R&D departments in the analysis of customers’ complaints to determine root cause.
- Coordinate training & implementation of SpineCraft spine products’ training activities in accordance with clinical and sales objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years (or Associates degree with 6 years) of clinical/OR, or relevant experience in complex spine instrumentation.
- Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position.
- Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures and the spine medical device industry.
- Effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues.

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Will be required to attend cadaver labs/surgeries.
- The employee must be able to meet and provide documentation for the medical requirements for individual hospitals and hospital systems as needed to observe surgical procedures.
- The employee must be able to travel via airplane.
